long lines, long days :) school has begun
wow.. what a crazy 3 days it's been. it's hard to get settled into studying, pay attention and keep up in classes, AND have a social life. haha
but it's nice seeing some faces i haven't seen in a while...
sophomore year isn't as bad as i thought it'd be

and floor 2.. i always love running into floor 2 ppl
ex-roomie my-lan came over today and we got yogurt park and chatted.. like good old times~

ya.. it's kind of weird to be down here when so much is probably happening up there. welcome week craziness. i remember.. freshman year welcome week was sooo great. soooo much fun.
wow, i can't wait to see some ppl. ppl i haven't seen for 3 months!! how weird..

speaking of ppl i havent seen in a long time.. i ran into phil and lisa today at the t.o. mall. talk about randomness. i haven't seen either of them in like a *year* and i used to be really close friends with each of them at one point in my life.
phil grew like a foot and lisa is still lisa :) it's nice to know that people stay the same deep down inside.

i know i'll be back in agoura sooner or later, but right now, i feel like i'm going to leave so much behind when i leave tomorrow.

ok.. rant of the day:
boys are stupid!!! all of them. isn't there ONE nice and reliable guy out there?!?! talking to them and hanging out with them makes me realize more and more how stupid it all is. euw. i HATE games. euw euw euw. euw. and when u want a guy in your life, he pushes away.. and when u want him to just go away, he wont!!
it's all just so stupid.
maybe i should just wear a sign on my that says, "go away, boys!!"

or maybe i'll just calm myself and listen to norah jones..

o ya.. i should talk a little about the john mayer concert cuz it was..
FOREAKIN AWESOME!!!

ahh what an inspiration to pursue music..

i've been listening to only his CD since the day before the concert and i'm still not sick of it! how can it be~
yikes.. but john mayer totally lacks people skills. i don't understand how he can write such woonderful songs ("your body is a wonderland.. candy lips and bubblegum tongue..") but is so just BLAH when he talks. so sad.. :)
but his music was soooooooo great. the lyrics.. the guitar. oh so great

and hanging out with judybooty, kristy, roy, and susan was ssoo fun. mmmmmm banana creme pie at nations..

haha all we ever do is go eat yummy food around the bayy area~

o my~ so tired

there was drama at 24hr fitness again. LAST time, i tried to go on that free 10 day trial membership thing, and they made me go through this whole orientation process that lasted about an hour just to tell me at the end that i couldn't go on the trial cuz i wasn't seriously considering joining the gym by the end of the 10 days.. [i had only 2 more weeks left in agoura..]

THIS time, i get the free guest pass thingie from a friend and try to get in, but they stop me again! they had to take my ID and i had to fill out paperwork and they were going to make me go through that whole orientation thing again. aarrgg. freaky obsessive gym people.

anyway.. ya generally today was stressful. the 3 mosquito bites on my right arm have blown up and are massive! i got 3 gigantic red swollen areas one arm. dude..

but the last few days have been pretty chill so it's alright :)

i love so cal..

i love the smell, the sun, the idle days, the fact that i can drive anywhere i want~

hard to imagine i'll be going back to a full-time student schedule next week. yikes

so i just discovered an easy yummy treat - frozen bananas!!

when the banana is close to rotting.. like when the peel is almost brown.. peel the banana and wrap it in foil and put it in the freezer.
the next day, it's a healthy yummy treat!
ooh and it's even better when u eat it with peanut butter.
yummmm :]

sunday was picnic day at kcpc~ i laughed soo much the entire day. i dunno how these ppl are so dang funny! well, as promised, dank wore his i <3 ochem shirt. [read a couple blogs back to find out what's so funny about this i <3 ochem shirt]

it's gettin hot in here~

it's prolly the hotttest day of the summer ever~
it's so hot that after work, after turning in my hw, i've decided to come to moffitt mcf to cool off and do all my online junk. wow.. i am a nerd. coming here just for fun :)

i love berkeley. i feel like when i'm here, there is no minute that is ever wasted. like every part of every day, you get the most out of your time. whether having good conversation and learning more about a friend, having some "me" time.. i learn to appreciate things a lot more.

being around church friends has really made me start thinking really hard about what's important to me and what my life means to me.

today i was wondering why i tend to be so open with people. i'm very quick to express my feelings..
and i realized that i care waay too much about people. therefore i depend on people more than i should. therefore i do a lot more talking than i should..
i should be more open with God..

wow, i just realized that i'm really bad at putting my thoughts down in words, so i'm gonna stop :)

at the moffitt mcf...

so the past few days have been really great!! prolly mostly cuz i wasnt at home #2..

over the weekend our small group went rafting at cache creek. yes, there is a casino there, which is also called cache creek, but there actually a creek there.. and it's also cache creek.
so it was really great. that's gonna go on my most memorable moments list :)
there was one part of the course, called "Mother" and it was sooo crazy!! half of the girls fell off their rafts. yes, me too. and i have a big bruise on my butt to prove it! haha. bruises are so cool. they make me look tough.

i dunno if i'd ever do it again. it's reallly really intense. we were in the water from 11-5, but it was really fun. small groups are the bestest :)
