i'm doing pretty good..

i'm actually doing really good. things couldn't be better~ linda, i realized, is a really considerate roommate. i havent really given credit for all the nice things about her. she is just simply a nice person. i just worry a lot about her and me and i think that tends to lead to my over analysis and over criticism about things~ ::sigh::

has it been 10 days since my last blog? man.. it didn't seem THAT long.
well, here i am, 10 days later, after one econ midterm, after some confusion about boys, after the biggest fight with my roomie.

but that's all past and it's the most beautiful day ever in berkeley
and my friends are so cool :) they really love me

waiting for the econ book.. yet again

wtf.. it was due at 4pm YESTERDAY and the person STILL hasnt brought it back. I am pissed and he/she has a fine and it's all sucky :P
the person who I bought the book off of (on amazon.com) said he could give me a refund if I want it cuz it hasnt come.. after TWO WEEKS! but then i wont have a book! wtf.. i shouldve bought off of barnes and noble. stupid amazon.

after FiC yesterday some of the girls went over to janice and erinna's place. omg, their place is SO NICE. yup i'm jealous. i have such a low opinion of my apt, but our apt is actually pretty nice too. janice made curry and it was so good! hehe we ate at like 1 am. we also watched As Good As It Gets, one of my favvorite movies, and talked til like 3 am. my friends are so fun :)

my mom called me sooo late at nite. i dunno why but she's been calling me like every 3 hrs or so to see where i am and "how i am doing" argh it's getting annoying. so i guess she was worried cuz she couldn't get a hold of me for an entire day so she called me at like 4 am to see if i was still alive. hahaha. poor mommy.

i don't know why i let little stupid things bother me so much. aahh it's my "only child syndrome." ::sigh::

ok, so i am super super tired. i didn't think working part time and taking ONE class would be so hard, but it is! especially if the kids u work with drain you of your energy.

anyhoo~ yesterday was quite the interesting day. one of the boys in my class, remember these are 4-5yr olds, says to one of the girls, "esther, baby" like in a really gross way. of course the girl thinks he's only making fun of her and calling her a baby, but the boy, tyler, tells her, "esther, baby doesn't mean i'm calling you a baby.. that just means i think u look nice!" hahahaha. i was like woah. where do kids learn these things?!

i was thinking.. blogs are soooo stupid. it's like a journal, but it's not. u can vent and say stuff without worrying what other ppl will think, but at the same time u DO have to censor yourself. how frustrating.

well, so i was going to write my last bloggie thing, but janet inspired me. haha. janet has one the most funniest (and most updated) blogs ever. hehe. she has no life. hehe. just kiddddding.

since i don't have the internet at home, i'm at a microcomputing facility (oooohh) on campus doing all my online crap. too bad i can't dl AIM or play aardwolf on these computers :)

ok. my life has basically been.. mon, wed: 10-12 school 12-5 work tu,th: 8-10 school 12-5 work fr: 12-5 work and maybe a gym trip here or there, playing roller coaster tycoon here or there.. hehe

i guess you'd like to hear about my most significant and interesting recent event. there's 4th of july.
me, menzies, jason (from floor 2), and erinna (from FiC) chilled aaaallll day in sf. aahh sf is soo full of fun! :) hehe. we had dimsum at chinatown [my first dimsum ever] and we ate til we were sooo full. then we went downtown to the metreon and watched MIB2 which I thought was good but no one else did. then we played hyperbowl and i got the lowest score :( but remember! everyone's a winner! hehe
then we went to fisherman's wharf and ate some chowda and waited for fireworks for like 2 hrs and got to watch an AWESOME fireworks show with 10 billion gazillion other people + tourists. crowds are awesome.
so i think that was my most memorable 4th of july. back home, my mom and i celebrate 4th of july by saying "happy 4th of july" to each other when we first see each other. and that's it. hahaha. what a funny picture. my mom getting coffee in her comfy clothes and me walking down the stairs in my pjs and exchanging "happy 4th of july"s. ::sigh:: those days..

ooh and another event.

this past sunday floormate jason threw a bbq at his house in el cerrito. jeanne and suparna came up for the weekend, so there was me, jeanne, suparna, sarah kalaei, jason, menzies, and ben. we ate sooooo much. well, i ate a lot at least. i'm just getting so spoiled with all this food! hehe
i never would have thought i'd hang out with jason and menzies so much.
anyway.. ben and i hardly talked at all. i was a little uncomfortable with him there, but i mostly just didnt care anymore. which is GREAT. i can finally look at him and say, "euw.." [no hard feelings ben, if you're reading this]. i can finally see him like i now see a certain other ex-boyfriend. eh :)
