sunny so cal

aahh i few blogs ago i said how much i miss berkeley and the excitement and all that stuff. but now all i have to say is i loove agoura hills!!

yes i admit it. i love the wide streets and serenity of little ol agoura. :P

kris and i cruised around trying to find something to do-- and we ended up in west hollywood. santa monica blvd to be exact. did u kno that sunset, santa monica, and melrose are all next to each other? i didn't until today! wow.. what an exciting place. so i also learned that santa monica blvd is the gay hangout. there were absolutely noooo girls! the guy to girl ratio was like 100:1 hahaha. and i felt completely powerless!
u kno how generally if you're a girl it's easier for u to use your womanly powers to get things to go your way. well.. not on santa monica blvd!! haha :) that was an experience. but since it was sunday nite, a lotta places were closed so we came back early.
it's so nice to just hang out with friends. doing nothing at all~ there's always something to talk about. and there's that agoura similarity. yay. AGOURA PRIDE

so i went to visit the high school on friday. whenever i go there, i realize how glad i am to be out of there. sure there is some nostalgia and in a sick way i miss the place. all the crushes and drama and gossip...
on friday, i came to the realization that everything moves on without me. haha i know that sounds silly. but seriously. who would think that the younguns would actually fill our shoes? people were soo busy with schtuff. i didn't really get a decent greeting from anyone :P i guess in a way i wished they'd be like, "jenn!! oh i wish u were here." too bad i didn't get to see most of the students. kris and i didn't wake up to make it to lunchtime so we were there during their 5th or 6th period.

i played some guitar today. i learned verve pipe's the freshman. it's one of my favorite songs. ::sigh:: u know all the young celebrities out there? like.. natalie portman, the olson twins, all the wb stars, that new girl avril lavigne.. they all have their careers set. their lives set. and they have this glamorous job- they have people to dress them, put on their makeup for them, they get invites to all the cool places, they can use their fame to get into harvard or princeton.. i ask myself, "why can't I have that?"

i am very happy with the life i have now, but don't u feel sometimes that u can make it better? that's how i feel. soo i'm going to rekindle my relationship with the piano, i'm going to practice the guitar intensively [i was slacking off before], and i'm going to work out a LOT. i've been home for two weeks but my body is showing no change! i was like, "at home, i'm gonna work out the ENTIRE time and look great by the time i go back to berkeley." ya.. we'll see if that happens. today was the most perfect weather to go run, but i didn't becuz.. i dunno why. i'm a lazy butt. so i'm going to do that 10-day free membership at 24-hour fitness :)

i got back from san diego today. ucsd to be exact ;)

me, joel, and lino left on tues evening and hung out for a few days there-- it was my first time at ucsd! i got to see dani, kira, rina, jeff, and mike yu [some agoura ppls who go to school there]. i havent seen them for like a year!! it was really nice seeing them. i love my agoura friends.. it's like even if i'm not really THAT close to them, we have a special bond and there's that history. aahh memories. hopefully we'll all get together and throw one big HUGE party. hehe or maybe go to TJ.

speaking of TJ..

it was hella fun. i dunno if the guys i went with had much fun, but i definitely had a lot of fun. unlimited drinks + good music + packed dance floor = happy jenn. keke. i think i might go again next friday with my very special emily ohno. haha. so.. things that happened in TJ:

- the drinks! rum+coke, f*ckin cools, pina colada, tequila, ... soooo good. potent stuff ;)
- all the hoochie underage girls.. omg, they were NOT 18.
- cigarette burn on my upper arm :P
- whistle man!!
- 3 tacos for $1
- scariness walking back to the border..
